Flik is the blue and white big brother. He indicates the minutes and with his long legs, he moves faster than his little sister. He takes one minute to move from one index to the next. His blue hair and outfit match the minute numbers written all around the dial. What he indicates is therefore easy to spot. He’s extremely well qualified for the job. And not just because he’s Swiss. He loves sport and is cool with taking a strategic step forward every 60 seconds.
Flak is the red little sister and indicates the hours. Ladies first! What she indicates must be read before anything else. She moves forward slowly to point to each of the color-coded hour numbers. Her red hair and dress match the colour of the hour numbers of the dial. It takes her 12 hours to return to her starting point. She tries to be patient and waits for her brother to take 60 steps before she leaps ahead, even though she’s often tempted to flip around on her skateboard to fill the time.
The Flik Flak clocks show the 12 hour numbers and the 60 minute numbers as well. Each minute is indicated by a dot and the main minute numbers are clearly written down.
The clocks have clearly readable dials with color codes. The colour of the minute hand (Flak, in blue) matches the colour of the minute numbers. The colour of the hour hand (Flik, in red) matches the colour of the hour numbers.
