Flik Flak launches it's first
international Design Talent Search.
Starting on May 22, 2012, participants will have time until end of August 2012 to design a Flik Flak© model watch (for boys or girls between 3 and 10 years old), and then upload their piece(s) of art on the Flik Flak© website.
Your drawings will be all examined with the duly attention and in case of interest you will get contacted by Flik Flak for a possible collaboration.

What is the purpose of this "talent search"?
We invite designers to submit designs in order to get a chance to discuss a possible cooperation with Flik Flak
What are the possible opportunities?
Opportunity to negotiate and possibly enter into a design cooperation with Flik Flak
Who can participate?
Anyone interested who is of age (i.e. at least 18 years old or older, in accordance with the legal age applicable in the relevant jurisdiction)
Is there a deadline for submission of designs?
Yes, August the 31th, 2012
Will submitted designs be purchased by Flik Flak?
No, there is no guarantee or whatsoever that a cooperation will be entered into, this is only a chance for contact. The submitted design will remain the property of the designer, while a later purchase may be the object of negotiations
Will participation in this talent search be remunerated?
No, only if and when a design contract is entered into, money will be paid.
Where to and in which format would designs have to be sent?
Participants have to create a designer account on the "Design Talent Search" website to download the template format : .ai CS3 . Designs must be uploaded on the website. All designs have to be uploaded in jpeg format (low quality image, so Flik Flak can't use the designs to produce watches prior any contract)
What are the technical requirements?
You will need Adobe Illustrator CS3 or newer version.
I don't have Adobe Illustrator!?
Go to www.adobe.com and download the trial version of Illustrator. (30 days free)
How can I know if Flik Flak is interested in my Design?
We'll get in touch personally with you in case of interest.
Where can I see what others did?
Sorry but you can't. We believe keeping the contest as interesting as possible is done this way.

By uploading any design(s), you hereby agree to the following conditions of participation in the FLIK FLAK Design Talent Search:
For the purpose of finding new design talents, Flik Flak, a division of Swatch Ltd., is holding the FLIK FLAK Design Talent Search, offering interested designers the opportunity of submitting their designs to Flik Flak for review. Those designers whose submission draws the interest of Flik Flak may be offered the possibility to enter into negotiations regarding a design cooperation with Flik Flak.
Starting from 22th May 2012, participants will have the opportunity to design a Flik Flak model watch for boys or girls between the ages of 3 to 10 years old and then upload their designs for review by Flik Flak. Only uploads made on or before 31st August 2012 will be considered. Participation in the FLIK FLAK Design Talent Search is open to adults only who must be at least 18 years old or older, in accordance with the legal age applicable in the relevant jurisdiction.
Participation in the FLIK FLAK Design Talent Search will not be remunerated.
In order to submit their designs, the participants will be required to create a designer account on the "Design Talent Search" website to download the template. Only designs uploaded on the website are eligible for participation. All designs have to be upload in .jpg format.
By uploading their designs, the participants warrant and guarantee towards FLIK FLAK that the uploaded designs are their own creations and are not infringing any third party's intellectual property rights.
The participants acknowledge and agree that their personal data is collected and stored by Flik Flak and that it may be used by Flik Flak in compliance with the data protection laws and regulations of Switzerland.
By submitting their designs, the participants acknowledge and agree that Flik Flak is not entering into any kind of obligation by reviewing the designs. Further, when submitting their designs, the participants acknowledge and agree that there is no guarantee whatsoever that a cooperation with Flik Flak will be entered into and the participants understand that the FLIK FLAK Design Talent Search is only an opportunity for first contact.
